Event Description

As a part of Child Education Excellence Project, A project of Help A Child of India. We conducted a preliminary health checkup camp for students of class 6 and class 7. The purpose of the Health Checkup is to create health awareness and detect potential health issues early among students. The camp was facilitated by Dr. Blessy and team. Health profiles of 23 children were documented. Most students were found to be in good health. Six students required attention (two underweight and three overweight and two children are mild anaemic) and were advised simple diet and exercise measures. Three students have vision problem and were advised to come for further screening and to wear spectacles. Two students were advised to use ointments for skin allergies.
