Event Description

An educational excursion to Birla Planetarium, Chennai was organized on 14th March 2026 for the Pulianthope CEEP students to enhance their knowledge about space science, astronomy, and scientific innovations. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure beyond classroom learning and to develop curiosity about the universe. Students visited different galleries and exhibits inside the planetarium. The major highlight of the trip was the space show, where students watched a visual presentation about planets, stars, and galaxies in the dome theatre. Students were very excited and actively participated in the activities. Many of them expressed that the space show and interactive science exhibits were the most interesting parts of the excursion.
