Event Description

The Amritsar Child Education Excellence Project (CEEP), a project of Help a Child of India, organized an Environment Day Awareness Program on Waste Segregation at Housing Board Colony, C Block, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar. The program aimed to create awareness among community members about the importance of proper waste segregation and responsible waste management. The chief guest and resource person, CA Ms. Simrati Kapoor from the Inner Wheel Club Amritsar Rising, conducted an informative and practical session on waste segregation. She explained how different types of waste should be separated into appropriate categories, such as wet waste, dry waste, recyclable waste, and other household waste. A total of 120 community members participated in the awareness program. Participants actively engaged in the discussion and practical demonstration and showed interest in adopting proper waste segregation practices in their daily lives.
