Event Description

The Amritsar Child Education Excellence Project, a project of Help A Child of India, organised a Cyber Safety and Security Awareness Programme at Housing Board Colony, C Block, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar, with the aim of creating awareness among community members about safe and responsible use of digital technology. The programme was conducted under the theme “Stay Alert, Stay Safe.” The chief guest and speaker, Mrs. Paramdeep Kaur, Inspector, All Amritsar Saanjh Kendra & PPM, Amritsar, addressed the community on the importance of cyber safety and security. She shared valuable information about common cyber threats, online fraud, suspicious links and messages, misuse of personal information, and other digital risks. She encouraged community members to remain vigilant while using the internet, mobile phones, social media platforms, and digital services. Mr. Aman Bhartwaz and his team from KP Art presented an engaging and informative street play on Cyber Safety and Security. Through their performance, they highlighted the risks of online fraud, unsafe clicking, sharing personal information, suspicious online activities, and other cyber-related threats. The street play effectively conveyed the importance of staying alert and following safe digital practices in everyday life.
