Event Description

Good vision is essential for a child’s education and overall development. Many
children, however, suffer from undiagnosed vision problems that can impact their learning
and daily life. To address this c oncern, an eye camp was organized in collaboration with
Priyamvada Birla Aravind Eye Hospital at Russa Tarun Dal Club, Tollygunge, on 5th
September 2025. The camp aimed to provide free eye check-ups for children and raise
awareness among parents about the importance of regular eye care. The objective of the camp was to to screen children for common eye problems and refractive errors, provide parents with information on preventive eye care, identify children needing corrective glasses or further treatment and refer cases requiring detailed evaluation to the hospital.
Through this camp total 35 child and 15 parents got benefited. Help A child wants to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff of Priyamvada Birla Aravind Eye Hospital who have come forward to join hands with us to ensure that children and parents of Rishipada basti have healthy eyesight.
