Help A Child of India celebrated its Annual Day Cum Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 15 August 2026. The programme brought together children, parents, teachers, volunteers, community representatives and well-wishers to celebrate the achievements of the children and commemorate the 80th Independence Day of India.
The celebration provided an opportunity to showcase the progress and talents of children supported through the Child Education Excellence Project (CEEP) while creating awareness about the values of freedom, responsibility, unity and social commitment. The celebration commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, special guests, parents, teachers, volunteers and children. The Annual Day segment highlighted the activities and achievements of the CEEP during the academic year 2025–2026. The Annual report was presented. The children participated enthusiastically in cultural performances, speeches and other activities, demonstrating their confidence, creativity and talents. The Chief Guests Mr. Premkumar, Inspector Thiruvika Nagar and Mrs. Shanthi Santhosh, Master athlete in Hammer throw and Southern Railway employee, graced the occasion as a guest and encouraged the children with their motivating words. As part of the celebration, students were appreciated for their participation, achievements and progress. Story books were presented to deserving children for best in attendance, best in discipline, best in talent competition, best in academic excellence, best in sports achievement and best volunteer
