A program team consisting of professional social workers, thematic experts in Health Management, Nutrition, Holistic Child Development, Human Resources, Finance, Inclusive development facilitate the program through local competent field staff, strengthening Community Based Organizations taking local ownership of the programs across India.
Who Benefits Directly from my Financial Support?
When you sponsor a child with us, the beneficiary of your support is primarily your individual sponsored child. Our focus is to create a conducive environment sustainable for your sponsored child's development. Our child centered community empowerment programs cater to holistic child development in a community setting. The child is an Ambassador for the children in the community and acts as a change agent in addressing child needs.
Ghow Often Does a Child Participate in the Sponsorship Program?
Our Children are active the entire week!!! Children attend our Child Opportunity Centers function every week from Monday to Saturday.
What is a Sponsorship Program, How Does The Child Benefit?
Every child is provided support in education through our Child Opportunity Centers. There are medical screenings done twice a year ensuring children stay healthy. A nutritionist visits at regular intervals and prescribes necessary diet and supplements. Through our multiple intelligence programs the innate talents of children are identified and are provided training in skills such as drawing, sports, music, dance, etc. Age appropriate life skill education is also provided to children.
What About Children with Special Needs?
As part of our inclusive policy special needs of children are addressed as per the need through referral services and follow up. This includes children with disability, both physical and mental.
